Summary of Job: Responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards and following established food production programs and procedures. Responsible for appropriate use of facility supplies and equipment to minimize loss, waste, and fraud.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ? Correctly prepare all food served following standard recipes and special orders ? Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food is preserved ? Apportion food for serving ? Complete food temperature checks before service ? To maintain a clean work area ? Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to supervisor ? Store food properly and safely, marking date and item
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years old
Posses ability to work as part of a team
Posses ability to multi-task
Knowledgeable in workplace and safety procedures
Knowledgeable in the preparation of menu items
Ability to use knives in a safe manner
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Must be able to reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push/pull items weighing 50 lbs or less
Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and other shifts as necessary
Other Functions: All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
