Customer Service Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION
Medix is currently hiring for several customer service representatives for a FORTUNE 14 Healthcare Organization.
This is a great opportunity to launch a career within the healthcare industry! The following are some of the day to day Responsibilities:
o Handling 80-100 inbound calls per day
o Interfacing with patients for a variety of issues
o Educating patients in regards to their medical bills from physician services rendered
o Explaining health insurance and benefit information to patients as it pertains to their medical coverage
o Performing data entry for various patient account reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS
o Must have a HS Diploma or equivalent
o Prior experience working in a healthcare call center is required
o Must able to work between the hours of 9am-6pm Monday - Friday
o Must be able to type at 40 WPM
o Must be able to multi-task with a variety of responsibilities

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
