We are seeking energetic, outgoing, and motivated individuals to be a part of our promotional team, which works the Six Flags Great Escape and surrounding area. Events and Fixed Locations include. Six Flags Great Escape, Live Nation Concerts at SPAC, mall locations, concerts, festivals, trade shows, and many more!
Event Marketing Sales Agents work at designated Silverleaf booths and host a variety of interactive contests and drawings in order to generate customer interest in Silverleaf Resorts. They should be friendly, welcoming, and respectful to all prospective customers. They are ultimately responsible for generating sales leads by selling promotional vacation packages or engaging with guests to sign up for a resort tour.
Silverleaf Resorts relies on the Event Marketing Team's interactive face to face marketing to engage with potential customers. The Event Marketing Team utilizes lead generation to provide the resort sales team with prospective customers.
Event Marketing Sales Agents:
Attend various marketing events throughout the Capital District area.
Provide travel and tourism information for vacation resort destinations
Assist in all promotional and marketing events- including set up and take down of promotional booths (if needed)
Sell vacation packages to the general public
Deliver an outstanding sales pitch in order to drive results and meet company standard
Work with the Field Marketing Team effectively
Expected to be able to work in a self-managed environment
$12/Hour versus commission, paid whichever is greater
Qualifications:
No previous training necessary- will train
Preferred background in Sales/Promotions/Marketing
Excellent verbal communication skills
Requirements:
Must have reliable transportation
Flexible schedule days and nights; weekends required
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
