McKesson Technology Solutions in Queensbury, NY is looking for several Part-Time Patient Services Representatives to join our growing team.
Position Description:
1) Responsible for handling inbound patient calls in a
call center
environment, researching and resolving issues in order to receive maximum profitability for clients.
2)Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
1) 1+ years of work experience
2) Healthcare and/or Insurance billing or processing and customer service call center experience preferred
3)7,000 keystrokes alpha numeric skills.
4) High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
Overall good knowledge of PAR responsibilities.
Good understanding of the billing process and little supervision needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
