The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting count audits, and ensuring accurate record-keeping to support efficient retail operations.
Job
Summary:
- Conduct regular daily inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels - Monitor inventory movements and reconcile discrepancies - Coordinate with suppliers to manage incoming shipments and resolve any issues - Utilize data analysis skills to identify trends and optimize inventory processes - Maintain organized records of inventory transactions - Have efficient product knowledge and be able to translate to co-workers and customers - Some customer service - Assist in other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Basic Math - Proficient with calculators and adding machines as well as Keyboards - Proficient with Word & Excel - Read, write & speak fluent English - Familiarity with inventory practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities - Experience with POS/ inventory control equipment or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
