This is a hybrid position but must live within driving distance to the Administrative Building in Queensbury, NY.
This position has the flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement once fully trained.
Position
Summary:
The Operational Data Analyst will conduct analytics to support the Health Center's ongoing clinical, financial and operational initiatives.
This position will help develop and drive operational improvement and efficiency strategies through the influential delivery of actionable analytics.
Under general supervision of the Director of Data and Analytics and as part of various workgroups and teams, the Operational Data Analyst will assist in coordinating, facilitating, and conducting report development, report writing, and comparative analysis.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Perform modeling and analysis of healthcare operations using a variety of data sources (e.
g.
clinical, financial, operations, etc.
) Prepare and present information, including executive and health center level reports/presentations to Senior Management and Health Center Leaders Lead efforts to ensure data integrity and validity and perform ongoing quality assurance of all data and reports Explore variations in reported operational analytics as needed Utilize advanced querying techniques with thorough knowledge and understanding of data warehouse concepts and content, in order to present operational analytics in a clear, concise and defensible manner to consumers Maintain and enhance analytical data delivery methods and tools Attend meetings as needed to provide actionable data, ensure appropriate interpretation of information, and elicit information needs Optimize recurring reporting processes to inform existing and emerging analytical processes Identify need for changes to workflow procedures and/or system configuration modifications Adhere to the guidelines as set forth in the Networks Remote Work Program and Expectations policy on the HWEB Enthusiastically support the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Hudson Headwaters Health Network.

Essential Functions:
Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytics discipline.
SQL, Access, Excel, SSMS, SSRS, Power BI and/or Tableau and reporting software knowledge required Experience in working with relational databases, large data sets and multiple data sources required Experience working with Electronic Health Record data preferred Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, prioritize multiple projects, and problem solve under tight deadlines and resource constraints Matrix relational influencing skills, including demonstrated ability to facilitate consensus across functional, departmental, and organizational boundaries Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills, including ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear, concise manner to audiences with varying levels of technical understanding Proficiency with visualization tools The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year and will be based on skills and experience.
