Responsibilities:
Fabricate, assemble, or disassemble manufactured products by hand Perform a variety of subassembly and assembly tasks such as installing hardware and finishing interior electrical parts.
Assemble parts, hardware and fixtures following the operating procedures Work closely with metal fabricators, riggers and technicians as directed by supervisor Supervise intake process and coordinate final assembly team as necessary.
Catalog parts including interior furniture, hardware and misc.
parts.
Perform quality control checks:
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specification, immediately communicate concerns related to manufacturing processes to supervision, particularly those that affect safety or product quality Organize schedule and processes of each project.
Detail high end boats including buffing, polishing and paint touch ups Boat inventory maintenance; ensuring boats are in showroom condition upon assembly, recording inventory of equipment and parts.
Read and understand specifications/measurements, work orders, instructions and formulas.
Use hand or power tools such as power drills, grinders and buffers.
Mix paint, ingredients, or chemicals according to specifications.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains thorough knowledge of several processes and equipment.
Maintains safe and clean working environment.
Collaborates with management to establish production and quality control standards.
Reports any problems in the process or equipment to Supervisor EXPERIENCE AND
Qualifications:
Attention to detail and quality craftsmanship required.
